How To Upload a WPD Website From a Purchase or Backup

We just implemented this new feature. It works in all paid WPD accounts. In this vid, I show you how to take files from a site backup or from a purchase (like on Flippa or AffiliateWordPressBlogs.com) and upload them to WPdirect to create a new website. This is really useful since you don’t have to mess with SQL databases, creating database users, going into cPanel or anything. I was tired of all those headaches when I would buy a new website from someone, and so we put this in to solve those headaches. Enjoy!

    Marty,
    Would I be able to take all the content from an existing site I already own and move it all to a new domain name I buy so that I can start fresh with better keyword research, domain name, etc?

    While its lots of great content it is wasted where it is.

      Well, you could either migrate your existing site to a new domain using WPD Transfer and Cloning tools, or you can export the content in WP-admin and upload it to a freshly installed site. Your choice.
